UI/UX Product Designer

Toast are seeking experienced UI/UX designer for 12 month contract to join small design team and assist with various projects including designing a new Windows based desktop application. This is a role suited to a someone who has some experience designing for desktop applications and working with small development teams.

Exprience
  • Experience visualising user journey and story boarding
  • Creating wireframes to illustrate proposed layouts
  • Developing designs (Sketch, Figma, Illustrator etc.)
  • Supplying recommendations and developing style guides for developer reference
  • Website design and knowledge a plus

  • Must be able to comfortably communicate and present ideas as part of a small team
  • Develop and iterate designs based on feedback
  • Weekly production meetings to review ongoing projects

Job Description

What Is Expected

Toast is a small, boutique creative consultancy with a broad range of clients. As part of the team, you will be expected to contribute to ongoing print and web design projects.

Knowledge of the Adobe suite of apps is required (inDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator). Some knowledge of web design and development is a plus.

The position ideally suits a recent graduate, or a junior designer looking for experience in a studio environment. This is an opportunity to further your skillset, improve your standards and gain experience in the creative industry.

The suitable candidate should be passionate about design and be able to take a job from concept through to completion.
